Digital Ad Market Still Has Room to Grow

Digital advertising has relentlessly grown to become a huge business over the last decade whereas corporations such as Google itself or indeed Facebook rake in USD10+ billion every year selling ad space.

The market as a whole, shows no signs of slowing down.

According to Statista’s data, search advertising remains the largest slice of the digital advertising pie with global revenues up to USD91 billion this year. With banner ads ranking second with USD43.5 billion in forecasted revenue.

Analysts expect now the digital ad market to grow at an average rate of 10.9% between 2016 and 2021, yet with social media and video advertising outpacing the overall market’s growth.
